Hello, aujourd'hui on va parler de mots en lien avec la 'weather' soit la météo.

thunder: foudre

thunderstorm: orage

ex: Thunder hit a tree that started to burn.

Traduction: La foudre frappa un arbre qui commença à brûler.

rain: pluie

rainy: pluvieux

ex: When I came out rain was falling gently.

Traduction: Quand je suis sortie la pluie tombait doucement.

cloud: nuage

cloudy: nuageux

ex: The sun was covered with huge clouds.

Traduction: Le soleil était recouvert d'énormes nuages.

storm: tempête

ex: I was frightened by the storm that was approaching our cosy village.

Traduction: J'étais appeuré par la tempête qui se rapprochait de notre village douillet.

temperature: température

ex: The temperature was very high!

Traduction: La température était très haute!

snow: neige

snowy: neigeux

ex: The snow had hidden all of nature with a great white cloak.

Traduction: La neige avait caché toute la nature avec un grand manteau blanc.

hail: grêle

ex: The hail was hitting the ground violently.

Traduction: La grêle tapait le sol violemment.

rainbow: arc-en-ciel

ex: From my bedromm I could see a magnificent rainbow watching over our small village.
